MEMBERSHIP BROCHURE
challenge:
to increase membership for this growing private course set among the natural setting of florida.
solution:
a high-end membership brochure that emulates elegance, nature and warmth all in one. the rivet bound brochure creates a book of warm imagery and places you in the natural setting at the club. to keep with the elegance of the course and the branding, a clear foil stamp has been included on each spread to customize and dazzle.

CORPORATE BRANDING
challenge:
to redesign all marketing materials for the crown golf family of golf courses through color, design and simplicity.
solution:
after assessing the needs of the marketing materials, the new brand was developed for crown golf through the use of color and typography. even though all courses have a different logo look and color scheme, we needed to create a uniform look for all marketing materials. this new brand needed to represent the family of courses in a rich, professional and clean manner.

MEMBERSHIP BROCHURE
challenge:
to develop a membership campaign for the pga championship public club to soon become private.
solution:
from membership brochure to direct mail to print advertising in local and national papers (crains chicago, chicago tribune and wall street journal) to radio spots, the soon to become private club needed to have a brand created for its new membership. the double gate fold brochure was designed as a picture book with minimal editorial since the course spoke for itself, being host to numerous championship tours. the brochure folds out to reveal the championship course, that can now be your private club.

the fifth largest savings institution represented in the chicago area by over 14 offices offering a wide range of personal banking services.
ANNUAL REPORT
challenge:
to create an annual report design that focuses on the importance of employees in the savings institutions overall success.
solution:
the graphic design embodies the warmth of personal service, a key contribution of employees. its contemporary look infuses an energy somewhat unique to an annual report for a financial institution, just as their employees add a quality unique to their operation.

PRESENTATION FOLDER
challenge:
to develop a logo design and brand identity that represents onshores business and personality.
solution:
the branding for onshore
uses waves and sand to suggest motion, communication, layers and complexity. it illustrates their approach to the computer industry and, in particular, their business philosophy: natural, warm, accessible. the presentation folder shown here bears a custom die-cut along the wave. an elastic band with barb holds the folder closed.

BRANDING & DIRECT MAIL
challenge:
with very little budget, the adult continuing education department of one of the most highly respected art schools in the country needed to increase its exposure and enrollment.
solution:
future guidelines for brand standards were established and a direct mailer utilizing those standards was sent out to 10,000 prospective students. the piece also features the work of the teaching staff that demonstrates the quality of the staff, while not incurring any outside cost.

INVITATION DESIGN
challenge:
to promote a series of 3 events during the month of october celebrating the stas 75th anniversary.
solution:
the invitation portrays the feeling of celebration through the use of color and a calendar like look to individualize the 3 events.

KEEPSAKE BOOK SET: TIMELINE AND HISTORY BOOK DESIGN
challenge:
to design a book set on a limited budget that gives a brief summary of 75 years of graphic design in chicago.
solution:
the 20 page timeline book was designed as an accordion fold to give the timeline a continuous flow. the timeline was designed to give important facts of the organization such as events, conferences, exhibitions and quotes. the history book gives a brief history of the organization. both books have the sta75 logo blind embossed on the covers. the set was then wrapped in a 4-color band of images of chicago graphic design pieces.

challenge:
to promote open communication among the college of pharmacy's faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends.
solution:
due to new corporate standards and need for a fresh new look, a rebrand and redesign of the triannual publication was produced with sensitivty to color, typography and good design.

ANNUAL REPORT
challenge:
to create an annual report for the first time as a separate publication from their uic pharmacist magazine.
solution:
the design of the annual report needed to carry on the branding we have created overall for the college of pharmacy, but at the same time be a separate publication. the annual report would be mailed as a stuffed piece in the magazine as well as on its own. through colors, typography and visual look we focused on the theme its the people and used large photos with little copy.

REUNION INVITATION
challenge:
to create a save the date postcard, invitation, rsvp and memory cards with an eye catching feel for the 2006 reunion celebration.
solution:
only using typography and color, we created a visual celebration. the look carries on the branding we have created for the college of pharmacy.
